At the Brain Health Clinic, we use advanced diagnostic imaging tests to obtain detailed information about the structure and function of the brain. Techniques such as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET) and dopamine transporter imaging (DAT scan) allow us to image and evaluate brain disorders in the context of neurodegenerative and other diseases, including, yet not limited to, markers such as atrophy, amyloid burden, vascular changes, the state of the dopaminergic system, etc.
These non-invasive imaging methods are vital for the accurate diagnosis of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer's and Parkinson's disease as well as for monitoring disease progression and evaluating the effectiveness of treatment. By integrating these imaging technologies in liaison with relevant imaging centers as appropriate, we ensure accurate diagnosis and customized treatment plans for our patients.
