A preventive brain health program at our center includes a variety of strategies aimed at preserving and enhancing cognitive function, reducing the risk of neurological disorders, and supporting overall mental well-being. Detailed, comprehensive and regular assessments of cognitive function are crucial for early detection of signs of neurodegeneration. At the same time, we use many specialized diagnostic tools to identify imaging, biological, genetic, etc. characteristic signs that indicate an increased risk of neurodegenerative disorders such as e.g. memory disorders.
The algorithm we use starts by collecting comprehensive baseline data, including demographic information, family medical history, genetic test results, and general health status. We assess risk factors such as age, sex, education level and socioeconomic status, as well as medical conditions such as arterial hypertension, diabetes, obesity, cardiovascular disease and mental health disorders. Lifestyle factors such as diet, physical activity levels, sleep patterns, habits such as smoking and alcohol consumption are also taken into account.
Comprehensive neuropsychological assessments are performed to determine the neurocognitive profile and monitor changes over time.
Based on this extensive data collection, the algorithm we use analyzes the interaction of various risk factors and predicts the likelihood of cognitive decline or neurological disorders. We create personalized recommendations, including dietary adjustments, specific exercise programs, sleep improvement strategies, and stress management techniques accordingly.
We monitor compliance with these recommendations and adjust them as needed based on ongoing data input in a variety of ways.
Our goal is to make a significant contribution towards healthy ageing with preserved cognitive function, delay where possible the onset and complications of neurological disorders and improve the overall quality of life of individuals.
